Durational Installation and Performance
CRYSTAL C functions as a durational installation and performance rooted in alchemical engineering. The project introduces the titular element—a synthetic drug/elixir and a corresponding architectural structure—as a mechanism for aesthetic relationships and psychic transcendence. Composed of 18 + 1 constituent elements, the elixir catalyzes chemical and personal connections into a new framework for human experience. By integrating performance, literary inscription, and totemic objects, the installation conceptually frames viewership as a pharmacological event and the exhibition space as the essential "set and setting" that structures the viewer's experience. The New York iteration inhabited the Cathedral Hall for a three-day exhibition.
