OPEN CALL
Participate in a Group Performance by JAŠA
Contemporary artist JAŠA (Jaša Mrevlje-Pollak) and an international creative team invite participants to take part in the creation and live execution of a collective performance for the upcoming project:
LIMBO: The Year I Shattered and Grew
(LIMBO: leto, ko sem se zlomila in zrasla)
No prior performing experience needed. All that is required is curiosity, open-mindedness, and a willingness to collaborate.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
How can the inner noise of our being harmonize with the external pressures of choices, expectations, and the demand to succeed? Is harmony even necessary—or are we inherently placed at the center of cacophony?
LIMBO explores the search for identity, facing pressure, uncertainty, and navigating the delicate balance between isolation and the need for connection. Where words fall short, the project responds through movement, sound, light, and spatial architecture.
On November 28, visitors will step directly into a living, parallel environment. Guided by a professional creative team, participants will go through a mentored process to develop movement, spatial compositions, and a live collective performance.
HOW TO APPLY
Send a short video (10 to 15 seconds) answering these two questions:
What is your biggest fear right now?
What is your biggest passion right now?
Your answer can be spoken, movement-based, or situational—share only what feels comfortable to you.
Email to: jasha.office@gmail.com
Deadline: November 1, 2026
Include in your email: Full name, year of birth, and contact details.
Note: Submitted videos are strictly for internal review by the artistic team. Any public use in the final work will only occur with explicit prior consent.

THE PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE

A SAFE & INCLUSIVE SPACE
We are committed to cultivating a safe, supportive, and open environment for everyone—regardless of nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or background. Discrimination, intolerance, or disrespectful behavior has no place in our process. Rehearsals take place in an atmosphere of mutual trust, privacy, and creative freedom.
