The Lovest

Museum of Modern Art, Ljubljana, Slovenia

2011 - 2014

Durational Situational Installation with continuous events

The Lovest was a major, three-year durational situational installation (2011–2014) realized by JAŠA in the basement of the Museum of Modern Art in Ljubljana. The project was defined by an intense collaborative ethos, integrating numerous artists and creators across multiple disciplines to generate a continuous, evolving aesthetic environment. The conceptual focus centered on the sustained engagement with a fixed architectural space and the resulting processual impact on the contemporary art scene. The project's legacy was further formalized by the 2018 documentary film, JAŠA: THE LOVEST, REVISITED, and it also generated associated works, including the studio album White Rooms by Leftfinger.
