Chapter 3, For All Tomorrows’ Songs, was presented at Kühlhaus Berlin (6pm - 10pm) and served as a profound conceptual exercise in confronting finality and capturing unguarded aspirations. The core action was inspired by a 2018 workshop where the artist asked children to draw their hopes for the world on the pages of a radical newspaper, entitled All Tomorrows’ Songs.

The chapter began with visitors, two at a time, being interviewed by the artist and his collaborator. Questions revolved around one’s fear of closed spaces and possible anxieties provoked by extreme closeness to others, resulting in the distribution of blue or yellow dot stickers and specific movement instructions within the space. Crucially, before leaving the desk, visitors were asked to write down their last message—addressed to loved ones or humanity—on blue or pink Post-It notes, a direct confrontation with mortality.

This work focused on the development of a gesture as an art form and a necessity. It highlighted the juxtaposition of a child’s unfiltered dream against harsh societal reality and the personal act of facing one's end. The work posited that these raw gestures, when later gathered as relics or fragments, maintain their truth and, within a new situation, trigger a new reality for fresh audiences.

The beauty lingers within persistence.
