Chapter 8, We Kidnapped the Bridge, extended JAŠA's research into intermedial relationships, foregrounding the performing body and presence as primary material elements in dialogue with the architectural space of the Kühlhaus kubus. The work utilized recognizable elements of everydayness, transforming them into an architectural sculpture set within the audience's path. This spatial arrangement mandated the audience's active role in constructing visual perspectives, thus capturing the ephemeral potential of the performance in situ. The conceptual framework centered on shifting the audience's position from passive witness to active perceptual agent within the duration of the event. The chapter was co-produced by UGM | Maribor Art Gallery in the framework of project EMPACT.
